KATARA CULTURAL DISTRICT

We took a comfortable metro from our great parking location to a local cultural hub focused on contemporary art and design – Katara Cultural Village. The ticket for a single ride is promoted at a price of 2 QAR, but you can’t buy it, so the only available is a day pass for 6 QAR. The venue hosts regular talks and classes, including workshops on caricature clay sculpture, recycled art, basic brush calligraphy, and regular exhibitions. We also explored local kindergarten “Palestinian propaganda” and a small Stamp museum focused on the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Behind the amphitheater is a 1.5km long pleasant sandy stretch of beach (day-pass 50 QAR).
