Just a few kilometers away from Algehad, we visited another little heritage village Al Ahtawhlah. The Quraysh market should be held every Wednesday, where locals from the surrounding villages come to buy, sell, and trade. The village was distinguished by the presence of two forts for protection, the Al-Othman fortress and the Damas fortress, buildings with a unique stone design and consisting of several floors. In the middle of the village was the mosque, which remains until now, with the unique water systems used for ablution.
