Great one day stop in magical hillside town defined by its castle, roads paved with chunky limestone and shale, imposing slate-roofed houses, and views out to the Drina Valley. We made it also to the Church of the Dormition of the Theotokos in the village of Labovë e Kryqit – It is one of the most representative examples of Byzantine architecture in Albania.
