Höfn is an Icelandic little fishing town in southeast Iceland. We made here short refreshing stop before Vestrahorn. Höfn means ‘harbour,’ as the town is located in one of the few natural harbors of Iceland’s South Coast; unlike the rest of the country, this stretch is flat. The town is right at the tip of its own peninsula; it is surrounded on three sides by the ocean, which brings in the town extreme freezing conditions during winter.
