LILLESAND

Our next stop was Lillesand, originally called Sanden. We walked around the center which is famous for its white-painted wooden houses. This little town was the first time mentioned as a port for timber shipment in the early 17th century. The center of Lillesand bustles with people in its narrow lined streets with charming second-hand shops and cafés. There is also a nice Neo-Gothic Swiaa-style Church built in 1889.
