After yesterday’s unplanned off-roading around Bunda, we decided to take a bypass and drove to Ukerewe Island on Lake Victoria. We took a scenic one-hour drive from Bunda to Masahunga Ferry Port to catch the 15:00 ferry, but unfortunately, we missed it. The next was at 17:00, so we strolled around the little village, took some photos and ten minutes before departure, we bought a ticket, which was supposed to be 15000 TZS according to our weight, but they charged us 20000 TZS. Anyway, we made it on board and enjoyed a roughly 30-minute journey to Ukerewe Island.
