MAASAI MARA II.

Luckily, we arrived at Sekenani Gate just on time to see and experience the Great Migration in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. It is an iconic wildlife event, featuring over a million wildebeest, zebras, and other herbivores migrating in a circular route between the Serengeti National Park and the Masai Mara. This massive movement is driven by the search for fresh grazing lands and water, primarily occurring between July and October as the herds cross the Mara River into Kenya.

We found a great parking spot, close to Sekenani Gate, just in front of the new The Village restaurant, where we also had great pizza (1400 KES). This time we paid 170 USD for the whole day safari (7 AM till 6 PM) and 200 USD per person for the entrance fee (by card at the gate).
