We realised that our rear right outer wheel was losing some air, especially when driving over strange bumps. So, the first thing we did in Singida, after refuelling our truck at Total, was to drive to a messy street shop where we saw big tyres. A group of guys guided us to a parking area on paved ground and took the wheel out. Soon, we discovered that the last welding job in Jordan had failed again. So, they manually removed the tyre from the rim and took the rim to a strange shop, where they performed some emergency welding (20,000 TZS). Then they put it back, and we will pray tomorrow that this reparation will last for some time. They initially asked for 55,000 TZS, but after negotiations, they were satisfied with 30,000 TZS.
