The Vikos Gorge is located in the Pindus Mountains in north-western Greece. It lies on the southern slopes of Mount Tymphe. The Voïdomatis River, a tributary of the Aoös, carved the 12km-long, 900m-deep Vikos Gorge over millions of years. The cliffs begin near Vitsa and run north to near Papingo. We hiked there for around 30 minutes to an impressive Beloi viewpoint.
