From Arusha, we drove on a good tarmac to the Namanga border on our way to Nairobi. It was again a pretty easy and friendly border. After arriving on the Kenyan side, we went to the building on the right side, where we obtained a Tanzanian exit stamp in our passports, and then proceeded to the next window to be stamped for Kenyan entry (we had made an ETA in advance, costing 34.05 USD). Then we got stamped our CPD by Tanzanian and Kenyan customs, after paying road tax (60 USD = 7,794.78 KES, paid by card). Then we drove to the exit gate, where they checked CPD, and we moved to the nearest shop to buy an internet bundle on our Safaricom sim card (10 GB / 30 days / 999 KES + 99.90 KES fee). There was no customs check on the truck, and all procedures took approximately 30 minutes to complete.
