NOSY AMBARIOVATO

Today we joined an organised one-day excursion (300,000 MGA) to Nosy Ambariovato, better known as Nosy Kombaโ€”the โ€œIsland of Lemurs.โ€ This popular trip from Nosy Be is perfect for spotting wildlife, especially black lemurs (Eulemur macaco), experiencing local culture, and unwinding on peaceful beaches free of cars and electricity.

We first visited the village of Ampangorina, renowned for its pedestrian-only paths, traditional embroidery, and finely carved wooden crafts. From there, we continued by boat to Nosy Tanikely.
