EĞIRDIR

Tucked away within the forested hills and mountains of inner Anatolia, the lake region has an escapist, even otherworldly feel. At its heart is Eğirdir, a placid town overlooked by mountains Sivri (1749 m), Davraz (2653 m), and Barla (2800 m). It makes an excellent base for hiking or for simply relaxing by the tranquil lake. Eğirdir is famous for rose harvest in May and June, apple harvest in autumn, and skiing in winter. This sleepy pleasant town is still unaffected by mass tourism, which makes visiting most worthwhile. On the way, we finally found AdBlue (JetBlue) – 13,50 TRY / liter; we also took ⛽ Diesel – 25,15 TRY /  liter.
