We left Iceland’s Westfjords behind and our exploration of Western Iceland began today. There are so many different things to see – diverse nature with beautiful waterfalls, lava fields, glaciers, and high mountains. We made many photo-stops today and one bigger one at Stykkishólmur, which is located in Breiðafjörður Bay on the north of Snæfellsnes peninsula. Breiðafjörður has around 3,000 Islands, Islets, and Skerries. Tomorrow our journey will continue to Snæfellsjökull National Park.
