We drove through mountainous, forested, and very fertile area (fig, olive, wine, apple, plum, almond) to the little coastal town Beni Haoua, as usually, few kilometers before the settlement, there was local Gendarmerie waiting to lead us to the only one resort there Dar El Ikram. After our arrival, a very friendly receptionist Sarah arranged with her manager free parking for us. And then she took us around the small town to see the shrine of Yemma Binette, a few kilometers long black sand beach, and to the port, from where the iron from nearby Zaccar and Rouina mines was loaded on ships to France. There is a legend, a rumor at least, circulating, that this iron was used to build the Eiffel Tower.
